Formed
in 2003 The JamDawgs started out as a rock-blues power trio that grew
out of the local jam sessions
that take place here in the Seattle area on a weekly basis. You're sure
to see a JamDawg performing on stage in a variety of venues around town!
The purpose of the JamDawgs in association with this site is to foster
quality musicianship in our local music scene by attracting intermediate
to advanced players to participate in the local
jams, and beyond...right where the Jam Dawgs were born. For those musicians
that are not familiar with the various places
to go to show off their chops, JAMDAWGS.COM is a valuable resource
for you. The JamDawgs now has its own LIVE! Jam programs operating at
Malarky's in Issaquah from 8:00pm to
11:30pm, and soon at the The Wilde
Rover in Kirkland Tuesday January 16, 2007 running from 8:30pm to
midnight.
For those Jam Masters who run the jam nights, the JamDawgs are a perfect
players to compliment to their programs. In fact, together we are building
a strong following and database
of quality musicians covering a variety of musical styles to provide
good talent with the exposure to move beyond just jamming. With the JamDawgs
in-house all sorts of musicians have an opportunity to showcase their
talent in front of talent scouts, producers, and other working bands who
may be looking for talent.
